Spike Shoes Spike shoes are used to apply decorative paint chips to epoxy finish. Also used when applying metallic epoxy. Spike shoes allow you to walk out into wet epoxy in order to correct problems and apply chips in an even and natural way. Spike shoes are also used to move metallic around while the product is still wet. Simply attach the spike shoes to your work or tennis shoes and walk carefully out over wet epoxy.
